5. How did you attract/ address your audience?

Our chosen genre is horror, like the majority of films the audiene can not tell the story line, but as our filming is at night it shows our audience that our genre is horror. Once the man starts walking in open roads we 1st see a zombie, this gives away part or our story line as our opening contains the 2 main characters and shows the audience that our genre is horror.
In order for us to attract a particularly male audience we made our opening look like it had been edited by a computer, as our final piece looks abit like a computer game. We used dubstep/drum and bass music to attract our audience as we are aiming for males aged 15 - 30. We also thought as our gen is horror we thought it would be best to film at night to get a much scarier affect. We did not use any green screen so all our locations were original and used to have a horror affect including alleyways and pulic area's that deserted like car parks.
